Stung Chinit East scheme:

In 2010, the commune of Kompong Thmor requested support from ISC for organizing the farmers in the area where they would like to build a new canal connected to the Stung Chinit reservoir.

The ISC signed one contract with the commune for creating a FWUG, creating a plot database, studying the future canal alignment and organizing land compensation.

Since June 2011, this canal is under construction with EU - Food Facility and AFD funding. The ASIrri project supported the canal design, contracting procedures and ensures the technical follow-up of the construction.
